Daily Duties at Fish Partners :

responsible for proper fish stocking and densities in all ponds preperation and implementation of fish feeding strategys schedule fish harvesting in ponds ready for market and lakes and ponds across southern california.also on a daily schedule check & monitoring of all ponds for oxygen levels and taking proper action based on monitering results.on a weekly basis do water quality check on all pondsmaintaining proper water levels training of employees in water quality monitering and management.on a daily basis maintaining control of vegetation on all ponds.taking steps to control of dike erosion and keeping dike roadways smooth for vehicle traffic.avising of need to dry up ponds for repair/new production cycles/ aeration.coordinating with farm owners for service and repair of equipment and fabrication of new aerators for farm use.also advising employees of proper use of equipment and operation.and during hatchery season maintianing healthy broodstock of proper size and numbers.preperation of new brood ponds for new season reviewing and submiting weekly fish inventory (note went from 956000 lbs to 1,875000lbs in fish during the time i was there)
