Daily Duties at Thirsty.Com:
• Performed daily functionality and regression tests on the website and its back end publishing system by verifying the publication of stories to the front end and wireless devices, including cellular phone, Palm Pilot, and pager. • Responsible for the development of test cases for each site component, including: o Front end and back end publishing system, including the deletion, addition, and modification of stories o Verifying site functionality according to specs o Automating test cases using Mercury Interactive’s Astra Quicktest, when applicable. • Performed stress testing using Microsoft’s Web Application Stress Tool to ensure the website’s ability to support a multitude of users (threads). • Documented bugs and verifying the migration of fixes to the QA and Production environments.
