Daily Duties at Aig Sun America:

• On a day-to-day basis directing and scheduling tasks for the QA team. • Responsible for creating, updating, maintaining and executing test cases using TestDirector. • Responsible for delivering a quality product on time and within Budget. • Responsible for supervising the testing and analysis of web applications to ensure they meet the specifications set forth by the Marketing department. • Responsible for providing training to users, QA staff, and other team members on the processes, procedures, applications, and software used in the project. • Responsible for assisting QA Manager with the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the Master Test Plan and Testing Schedule. • Liaison between vendors, management and Business Systems Analyst (BSA), providing reports and test results, attending meetings, and maintaining project documentation. • Provided bi-weekly status of bug reports from the PVCS Tracker database. • Reviewed user requirements within the Business Requirements Document (BRD), test scenarios, plans and scripts, and then executing them for testing various software systems modifications in the SunAmerica environment. • Responsible for performing Graphical User Interface (GUI), functionality, code validation and regression tests for the eCommerce department of web applications. • Responsible for performing functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing. • Responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, and testing of the final application within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Responsible for documenting test cases and scripts using TestDirector. • Responsible for validating bug fixes and updating bug status using PVCS Tracker. • Responsible for providing input to the Mainframe (non-financial and financial transactions), and analyzing the output (batch system). • Responsible for working with a large-scale Mainframe software package (Vantage) to verify correct transaction processing in the system. • Validated NSCC feeds and verifying processing of feeds to the Mainframe (CICS) and Client/Server (Navisys) systems.
