Daily Duties at Quantum Corporation:
Simultaneously managed enterprise-wide global projects leading IT implementation of Oracle ERP and SAP conversions with geographically diverse and multi-organization, multi-national teams in the US, Malaysia, and France. Delivered network access, software and interface testing and deployment to 250 end-users delivering access, user secuirty, software functionality under tight contracturally agreed upon timeframes. * Ernst & Young audit liaison responsible for ensuring IT’s compliance and implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 legislation requirements, documentation and due diligence processes. Reduced audit findings from 35 to 2 in the first year of process implementation. * IT’s ISO, HIPAA, Import/Export and Homeland Security audits, responsible for compliance documentation, process creation, security reviews and coordination of inter-departmental efforts. No findings were issued as a result of audits. * Project managed world-wide IT projects – ERP implementations, process improvement, ITIL and COBIT best practice implementations. Delivered projects on-time and within budget. * Implemented IT’s fixed asset accounting and depreciation tracking at worldwide IT data center working closely with corporate Finance staff. Reconciled all assets and developed repeatable inventory process. * Developed and implemented IT’s global change management process and performed post mortem of hardware and software changes. Reduced downtime following an implementation from 20% to 2%. * Created, implemented and maintained enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery Plans for each of 7 IT data center sites. Provided senior management with actionable recovery plans.
