 Work in a very high paced, competitive environment with short deadlines that have to be met.  Develop turnkey processes that include both manufacturing and assembly equipment to build automotive components based on customer supplied part prints, specifications, and requests for Quotations.  Compose detailed descriptions of machines to build automotive components.  Collaborate with estimating and sales departments to determine pricing for described machines.  Complete all Customer required documentation to be included with proposals.  Present detailed proposals to the customers.  Coordinate vendors for products to be purchased for turnkey systems.  Review quotations from vendors to verify content, terms, warranty, and compare pricing.  Develop and assist AutoCAD layouts of machines that are described in the proposals.  Develop work holding and tooling concepts.  Lead engineer for several simultaneous engineering projects.  Project engineer for several awarded proposals.  Full estimating responsibilities on large proposals.  Develop technical documents such as tool life data, cycle time studies, Failure Mode Effects Analysis and statistical data from machine validation.  Use of SAP database for documentation and project management.  Proficient in project management scheduling.  Research new suppliers for low cost, quality solutions.
