Managed company’s relationship with Ford and affiliated dealerships. Business development responsibility for acquiring retail, lease, wholesale and service contract businesses. Established and grew wholesale accounts. • Acquired $5M wholesale automobile flooring account for new Ford dealer which increased wholesale income for sales territory. Maintained 80% wholesale penetration of existing Trustmark dealerships serviced. • Increased fee income for sales territory by acquiring extended service contract business from competitor. Maintained 64% of Ford dealers as primary service contract accounts. • Led initiative for profitability seminar in Fresno territory; added to overall profitability of area dealers and mitigated risk of default to Ford Credit. • Implemented profit improvement plans at higher risk dealers in order to avoid wholesale losses. Reduced risk and improved profitability for Ford Credit and assigned Ford Dealers with no dealer defaults at serviced dealers. • Met and exceeded annual sales objectives yearly, which assisted territory in meeting volume and profitability goals. • Leveraged company plans and programs for profitability by delivering company value proposition to assigned automotive dealers. Consistent use of revolving, capital and mortgage loans with dealer customers.
