Daily Duties at Los Alamos National Lab:

• Pre-Design project activities, programming, planning, site and building assessment, site planning, building code review and other project related data collection/research. • Plan and development of architectural projects with complex and technically challenging characteristics. • Comprehensive execution and multi-disciplinary coordination of Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications. • Construction Inspection during construction, including shop drawings/submittal review, site observations, preparation of field-issued sketches, participation in construction meetings, and preparation of preliminary and final punch lists. • Demonstrate capacity to meet deadlines with quality while coordinating multiple projects, simple to complex, in varied stages of progress. • Perform quality assurance reviews of project deliverables and monitor corrective actions where necessary. • Superior graphic presentation skills, hand sketching and rendering as well as computer techniques. • Currently utilizing AutoCAD ADT 2008 with 3D and a comprehensive library (CAP Studio, Archibus/FM). Additional proficiency in Word, Excel and SureTrack applications. • Development of CAD standards to be applied to specific needs as required for departmental use incorporating industry publications. • Development and implementation of Departmental Procedures, Policies and Processes custom designed for each specific project. • Interior Design, Facility Planning, Space Planning
