Daily Duties at United American Construction:
Managed a team of 10 project managers and 15 field superintendants and tradesmen Worked with Project Manager teams to ensure they had all information needed to efficiently and successfully bid and win projects Created Design-build layouts for commercial fit-outs and SCIFs, hand drawn and with Visio Wrote and presented submittals, RFI’s, change orders and back charges Reviewed project budgets, connected expenses, overhead costs, draw schedules, contracts and profit margins before submitting to client Conducted employee development and evaluations Researched, and evaluated project opportunities Developed relationships with Architects, Property Managers, Facility Managers and Government representatives to be placed on their bidder’s lists and to be considered for new projects Revitalized existing and created new relationships with clients through meetings and ongoing correspondence Created marketing materials: web site, e-marketing programs, brochures and print advertising copy to help brand the company and create awareness in multiple sectors as well as the community Initiated development of partnerships with related industry companies to increase project opportunity Maintained and updated extensive, detailed client lists Attended community functions to promote business: Chamber of Commerce, IFMA, WBC, etc.
