Manager – Customer Integration Systems .Added connectivity to web and remote applications for over 50 new customers per year, increasing productivity, ease of access to GE for customers, and increased productivity for underwriting system applications teams .Setup and managed communication software for over 150 existing U.S. and Canadian Mortgage businesses, creating new business and retaining existing customer base .Setup and tested group applications for Disaster Recovery twice yearly. .Implemented translations of incoming customer data for both U.S. and Canadian customers, increasing productivity for the customer base and underwriting system application teams. .Implemented new Address Search engine for Canada based customers, decreasing response time and increasing accuracy to customer underwriting requests. .Managed team of 8 - 10 employees. Manager – Customer Service Systems .Supported customer base and Customer Service Department with application and project requests. .Developed and implemented one of the first web based applications (called CertiLink) for MI customers, increasing customer productivity, customer retention, and ease of access to GE. .Organized customer conferences and visited customer sites to gather requirements, recommendations, and suggestions, improving customer base relations and customer retention. .Developed budgets for staffing, travel, salary planning, training, hardware/software procurement, and project projections. .Oversaw processing of cash and billing processes. .Managed team of 10 - 20 employees. Project Manager / Senior IT Systems Analyst .Implemented, deployed new Oracle/DB2 based Rates System, decreasing response time to applications, customers, and CPU costs. .Developed and implemented Instant Refi system, providing easier and faster refinancing of loans, improving customer retention. .Implemented online GL application, reducing time required for financial adjustments and account reconciliation. .Developed, implemented Underwriting System interface using Unix/C/Scripting; for- runner of current Underwriting web system, increasing customer productivity, response time, and reducing CPU costs. .Designed, developed and implemented new Monthly Mortgage Insurance products for MI industry, allowing borrowers to reduce up front MI costs and monthly mortgage payments, increasing customer base and customer retention. .Developed web based Risk State module for existing Customer Contract system, increasing data accuracy for Claims. .Developed new KY tax interface using VB/COBOL/MQ delivering accurate tax rate information for Underwriting and Claims systems.
