Daily Duties at Save The Children Usa/Guinea Program. West Africa:
•Supervised the team of protection animators •Using the Convention on the Rights of the Child (crc) to advocate for the safe survival of war affected youth and women; thereby creating a supportive environment for their existence and survival. •Sensitized the Refugee community on gender sensitivity and protection concerns. •Organizing mass awareness campaign soliciting community members’ participation on the rights of the child. •Planned home visitation, identification and subsequent documentation of protection concerns; as well as, the referral mechanism and protocol-confidentiality, follow-up etc. •Counseling both survivors of violence as well as the perpetrators. •Represented SCF/USA during IP and security meeting with other partners and donors.
