Daily Duties at Nettest, Inc:

Developed and implemented manufacturing processes for fiber optic test equipment products. Assisted with design engineering with the definition and transfer of complex electro-mechanical designs to production and new product integration (NPI).  Designed tooling, fixturing, test equipment and procedures for the manufacturing environment.  Created, maintained, and revised master drawings and software releases. Maintained quality controls as per key customer and ISO 9000 criteria.  Specified fabrication materials, design piece parts, generated assembly drawings, and verified the accuracy of the documentation.  Worked with vendors and suppliers to continuously improve the timeliness of delivery and quality of components and subassemblies.  Provided ongoing support of mature products to manufacturing and customer service staff. Performed testing, calibration, and evaluated electrical circuits, components, instruments and optical/mechanical assemblies.  Assisted in engineering evolution of components, prototypes, first articles, quality evaluation, specification and modification.  Worked with production and engineering to develop, design, and fabricate fixtures.
