Climbers' Joblogs at Us Marine Corps:
My Career So Far !
I Started out by joining the Marine Corps back in 1996. At first I thought it was going to be just for four years and then get out. At the end of four years I reenlisted for another four years. By now I have been through so much that getting out would seem crazy. Then again i reenlisted for the second time which brought me where I am today. After 12 1/2 years I got out and I am ready to apply what I've learned to the civilian market. While in I went through several leadership schools to teach me how to be a more effective leader and how to get people follow me any where's. I think the best school I went through was recruiting school located in San Diege, CA. That was a two year business degree packed into 7 weeks. Then after 3 1/2 years on recruiting duty I became one of the best salesman in the Marine Corps.
I think the best qualities that I have are the ability to listen and manage others not only through easy times but also trying times. I learned to never give up and you can always persevere if you put your mind to it.
