Daily Duties at Department Of Agriculture:
Assist with the final edits prior to forwarding them to the Director’s Office for approval. In this capacity, I have reviewed hundreds of FADs and have written compliance FADs, settlement closures and dismissals. Review and finalize all Final Agency Decisions (FADs) written by specialists for formal Employment (Title VII), and formal Program related (Title VI) complaints filed against USDA. Review FADs to ensure that grammar, format, and content are correct. Review, revise, and finalize outgoing correspondence. Write and mail closure letters. Serve as a liaison to the Customer Service Unit, providing assistance with more in-depth details on the status of a complaint. Log complaint activity into established database. Provide verbal responses to status inquiries from complainants, agency officials, and/or parties to the complaint in question. Serve as a liaison to the Customer Service Unit, providing assistance with more in-depth details on the status of a complaint. Routinely assist Specialists with other duties as assigned. Ensure safeguards are maintained to confidential and/or sensitive information. Prepare and maintain time and attendance records for 14 employees. File documents in accordance with established office procedures.
