Daily Duties at Rite Aid:
-Responsible for the operation of a profitable, clean, customer-oriented retail store by overseeing the daily activities to ensure its smooth operation and to ensure prompt service is given to all customers and resolving any customer complaints. -Responsible for planograms, recalls, damages, price changes, transfers, signage placement, also experience with hand held ordering scanner. - Gained experience with seasonal merchandise and non seasonal basic and seasonal end caps and general merchandise display. -Worked daily with vendors and verified invoice accuracy. -Responsible for banking, daily paperwork, and computer communications. -Basic knowledge of Staffworks. -Responsible with store manager in controlling expenses, preparing the retail store for physical inventory and controlling shrink. -Unloaded weekly warehouse truck alone, experience with dolly and floor jacks, and maintained stock room control for rotation and easy access. -Involved in interviewing, hiring, training, rewarding and disciplinary process, and provided leadership and development. -Ability and willingness to move with a purpose and a strong sense of urgency. -Assist pharmacy department in daily operations. -Experience with one hour photo and Western Union.
