Daily Duties at Collections, Etc.:

Responsible for the item level demand forecasting and timely placement of purchase orders (in most cases to China) for finished goods to be sold direct to customers via catalog and internet channels. . While at Collections, I accomplished the following: * Developed a corporate inventory plan – key to space planning during peak seasons * Worked with other team leaders to develop functional specifications for future forecasting software * Coordinated office renovation project w/ contractors * Identified 3 forecasting software providers and orchestrated product evaluations from which one was selected * Established all service level and inventory turn objectives * Was responsible for procurement of packaging materials * Identified “distress inventory” and worked to w/management staff to orchestrate a “warehouse sale” to obtain the highest possible asset recovery * Incorporated best procurement practices and trained staff of 9
