Daily Duties at Us Foodservice:

Responsible for preparing, reviewing and reconciling monthly P & L and Balance Sheet statements in accordance with GAAP for this publicly traded entity. Implemented policies and procedures for compliance to Sarbanes Oxley 404. Managed staff within the accounting department. Prepared and present a weekly sales and expense projection, for the V.P of Finance, President, V.P. of Sales, V.P. of Operations and V.P. of Procurement. Conducted audits of vendor programs. Completed annual tax package. Trained and mentored junior staff. Implemented process improvements, which resulted in time savings and improved accuracy. Approved all payables prior to processing. Bank statement reconciliation.
