Daily Duties at Florida Technical College:
• Interviewed candidates for admission and instructed them on the benefits of a college education. Assisted students in formulating a plan to advance their education. • Assisted students with funding process for their education. • Advised students on financial aid options regarding federal and state government based loans and grants. • Created Power Point presentations of all programs offered, and presented it to potential students to help them make an informed decision in selecting a school. These presentations were subsequently utilized by the Admissions Department for purposes of promoting the programs and the school to the prospective student. • Was required to gather information regarding the school’s Allied Health and computer-based programs to ensure a knowledgeable and effective presentation of these programs. • Collected, reviewed, and assessed applications and related documents for compliance with eligibility for admissions. • Recorded and monitored data into a Campus 2000 student database system. Managed files and records to ensure accurate progression throughout the admissions process. • Resolved routine application processing problems and coordinated the resolution and/or referral of specific policy-related and procedural queries and problems. • Responsible for calling potential students to recruit them, qualify them and set appointments. • Followed up with the candidate through the enrollment process up to and including active attendance in school for the first week. • Was required to generate my own leads to meet the company’s team and individual monthly quota.
