Daily Duties at Supervisor/Manager Manufacturing:

• Long track record of increasing profit, efficiencies, quality, on time delivery, and reducing scrap, waste, change over times, and downtime • Hands on experience in twin shot molding, over molding, pad printing, working with 50-2850 ton machines • Strong background in quality, QS 9002 (auditor) and TS 16949. • Resolving customer quality complaints on production issues. • First employee hired, launched 14 machine injection molding department • Administer daily direction for all production associates • Provide daily reporting of production to Department Manager in terms of downtime, OEE, productivity, and scrap. Provide root cause/corrective action daily reports for scrap and downtime • Support daily production plan and mold change over schedule based on Weekly Production Release in order to optimize production efficiency and work force utilization • Champion continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, reduce costs and improve safety • Lead production team to improve quality • Interview, hire, train and mentor all new employees • Develop training modules and/or material for on-the-job training • Establish and ensure good housekeeping and 5S activities are in place and maintained • Ensure that processes, machines and auxiliary equipment are maintained at an optimized level • Support Lean Manufacturing Strategies • Maintain overall company compliance to policies and regulations. • Estimate materials and labor required for production • Conduct ongoing performance reviews • Enforce company rules and policies, performs or reports need of disciplinary actions • Improve and optimize workflow • Provide manufacturing technical directions and technical assistance for new and existing products • Maintain process documentation for existing programs, and create appropriate documentation for new programs • Identify and write all work orders on any maintenance issues • Communicate plant status and issues to the next shift supervisor • Keep production equipment up to standard operating levels for a consistent production flow • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for production and facilities equipment • Ensure that all facilities equipment is in good working order • Lean Manufacturing • S.M.E.D./O.T.E.D. (Quick changeovers) • 5S Training and Implementation • Six-Sigma Training (APQP, PPAP, FEMA, root cause) • S.P.C. Certification • Kaizen (continuous improvement) • Paulson training • Microsoft office, excellent computer skills
