Daily Duties at Lectec Corporation:
Conducted preliminary testing of new products, competitor products and raw materials. Analyzed raw materials and handled trouble shooting using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR). Performed thermal analysis using Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Gained experience in cGMP, SOP and validation. Wrote specifications for new materials and protocols for stability testing. Implemented new methods using HPLC and Gas Chromatography (GC) to support product formulations. • Developed several pharmaceutical patches to market, which generated revenue in excess of $800,000 annually. • Formulated corn and callous, hydrocortisone, Vitamin C, antifungal, herbalgesic and skin moisture determining patches, from concept and development to production.
