Directed wide range of critical functions, reviewing and analyzing sales, margins, inventory levels and trends, in order to identify growth opportunities and enhance customer experience. Maintained communication with suppliers to negotiate upcoming promotions, product offerings, strategies, merchandise presentations, pricing and financial terms, and competitive positioning. Partnered with Inventory Replenishment department to analyze seasonality trends, upcoming promotional ordering, and disposition of slow moving or obsolete goods. Coordinated supplier training and field support with Store Operations and Commercial Sales groups, assisted Finance department in reconciling billing and marketing fund discrepancies, managed categories to sales, margin, inventory budgets, open-to-buy goals, and collaborated with E-Commerce group to market select items and categories. Additionally, evaluated efficacy of advertising plans.
