Daily Duties at Guardian Investor Services:

Proposed the creation of a new Inbound Sales Desk in order to alleviate the burden of inbound phone calls on all outgoing sales representatives, allowing them to focus on sales. Designed work schedules, training curriculum and work flow systems in preparation for rollout. Coordinated the implementation of new computer and phone systems prior to rollout. Interviewed, hired and trained new Inbound Sales Representatives. Implemented a training program designed to provide team members with the skills necessary to become outbound sales representatives; curriculum included phone skills, product knowledge and presentation skills. Met with senior management bi-weekly to discuss the team’s progress and justify its continuation. Met with each team member weekly to chart their progress and discuss their career path. Improved call efficiency on the sales desk by at least 50% in each of our four critical measurements: average wait time, average abandoned calls, maximum delay and turnaround time.
