Daily Duties at Sun Life Financial Distributors:

Created and sustained a top performing sales environment operating at the highest level of integrity and compliance. Oversaw the large-scale growth and expansion of the Sun Life Financial Inside Sales Team. Responsibilities included recruiting, hiring, training and motivating Sales Managers and Sales People. Supervised a team of Variable Annuity Sales Desk Managers. Worked in conjunction with the Executive Vice President of Inside Sales and Chief of Staff in the development and implementation of the overall SLFD Sales Desk business strategy. Coordinated the efforts of Sun Life’s, Relationship Managers, Marketing Team and Field Sales Force to drive sales within Broker Dealer Firms. Utilized business intelligence to effectively qualify and target prospective producers within partner Broker Dealer Firms. Developed and implemented prospecting strategies to provide personalized financial solutions to help meet each client’s specific objectives. Identified firm-specific goals and managed multiple ongoing firm-specific campaigns through relationships with National Accounts, Information Technology and outside Broker Dealers. Worked closely with the National Sales Director to develop and implement channel specific strategies to drive top-line growth by creating synergies between field and desk sales force. Developed and maintained strong partnerships with intermediaries at our Broker Dealer Firms. Designed and launched New Business Development Unit; comprised of senior sales professionals focused solely on the development of new producers.
