Daily Duties at Omi International Corp.:
ELECTRONIC DESIGN LEADER, 12/73-7/79 - Directly responsible for origination and accuracy of all engineering documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, PC Boards) required for design, development and production of solid state and relay logic controls. Assist in design and development of a dedicated programmable controller, and auxiliary equipment, for plating hoists. Responsible for specifying and procuring new purchased parts. Complete assembly and necessary testing of engineering prototypes and models. ELECTRICAL DRAFTER, 9/69-12/73 - Responsible for engineering documentation of custom plating machine controls which exceed the scope of standard controls used by the Production Engineering Department. Directly assist the Machine Services Department with telephone consultation and service trips to customer’s plants. Design and document hydraulic and pneumatic control circuits for plating machine operation. ELECTRICAL DRAFTER, 5/69-9/69 - Contracted by Trojan Engineering Company to design automated plating machine controls to JIC standards.
