Daily Duties at Masco Corp:
Senior Designer 2005-2009 Conceived product design and testing for new and upgraded kitchen and bath products. Coordinated design to apply manufacturing constraints to inherited product. Provided design support for SLA and SLS rapid prototype fabrication, and off-shore design facilities. * Led 4-5 R&D departments in "team" projects of design and process equipment. * Successfully designed 30+ new RTA kitchen cabinets for emerging Indian market. * Developed all new Pro / E start part / assembly / drawing, using parametric driven tables. * Delivered two-three design simplified products per year to improve merchandise offerings. * Invented and constructed automatic assembly and test tools to ensure product success. Design Checker 1991-2005 Ensured design practicality and drafting accuracy for six-eight employees. Validated Pro / E design documents to ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards. * Coordinated five-ten design projects per year for divisions with R&D affiliated departments. * Developed and implemented ISO-9001 procedures for design department compliance.
