• Conducted market research to locate global partner firms for products, distribution channels, and commodities. • Maintained 20 item categories and managed the products from birth to death in the product life cycle. • Reviewed, recommended and processed all new items, maintenance and gross profit and costing. • Analyze market positioning and procurement trends in order to assess present and future material/service risks and needs including reports on market pricing & conditions. . • Developed and implemented cost cutting measures to reduce operating costs, maximize profit. Able to positively effect lead times, inventory, productivity, and bottom-line profitability. • Managed the integration and coordination of activities to achieve reduced costs. • Ensure proper disposition of unsaleables using accepted procedures. • Interview, select and manage private label product lines from manufacture to shelf. Includes purchase of raw materials, QA, and distribution from concept to shelf.
