Daily Duties at Delaware North Parks And Resorts:
I started out as a cashier assisting the tourists who came to visit the Falls. I would run the cash register and balance out my drawer at the end of the day. From here I went to the cashroom where I did the daily bookkeeping and cash handling of all the deposits from the 4 gift shops at the Falls as well as the snack bars and the restaurant. I then was promoted to warehouse supervisor where I was in charge of the inventory of all the merchandise for the gift shops and concession stands which was equivalent to over 1 million dollars per year. I was then asked to move from there to being a gift shop supervisor when there was an opening where I was in charge of all the cashiers under me, inventory, and balancing out the cash registers at the end of the day.
