Senior Service Associate • Full understanding of employee benefits and group insurance reimbursement to current health care products, such as, PPO, Indemnity, Managed Care (POS, EPO/NPP, HMO) • Knowledge of medical terminology, IC-9-CM, CRVS, & CPT-4. • Responsible for on-line processing of all types of healthcare claims • Negotiate with hospitals for prompt payment discounts on large dollar claims. • Handle large hospital claims at high dollar authority level. • Provide customer service to members & providers. • Communicate monthly audit results to upper management. • Conduct internal audit on team members for the unit. • Train team members on in-depth processing of health claims at all levels. • Generate monthly report cards for team members based on monthly audit results. • Interact with other internal auditors and audit manager to review and develop training guidelines.
