With limited supervision, responsible for the investigation, evaluation and disposition of an average case load of 100 Complex WC cases of high exposure and severity. Investigate claims to determine coverage, establish compensability and verify exposure. Work closely with staff and outside defense counsel in managing litigated cases. Prepare cases for WC Hearing, Mediation and Settlement Conference. Confer directly with Customers for strategy and resolution. Coordinate training sessions for less experienced staff.
