Daily Duties at Hansen Thorp Pellinen Olson Inc.:
Sign checks and lien waivers. Prepare minutes for Board of Directors and Shareholders annual meetings. Communicate with the bank regarding account transfers, loans and other financial items. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements; coordinate with external accountants for fiscal year end financial reporting. Maintain General and Subsidiary Ledgers, audit, analyze and reconcile accounts. Prepare and process payroll and related payroll activities including Certified Payroll processing. Process and prepare monthly invoicing to clients. Oversee and process Accounts Payable. Manage Accounts Receivable, develop and pursue collection strategies. Assist with yearly budget preparation, monthly budget review and analysis. Perform internal audits involving accounting and administrative controls. Reconciliation of bank statements. Review and maintain accounting, timekeeping, payroll and other related procedures and processes, implement changes as necessary. Administer polices relating to all phases of human resources. Identify legal requirements and government reporting. Keep records of benefit plan participation and personnel transactions. Plan Administrator for benefit programs. Communicate with employees regarding their benefits, resolving problems, and new employee orientation. Supervise office personnel. Oversee ordering office supplies and other office functions. Interview and recommend various service vendors for general office needs.
