Prepared APs for wireless network updating Operational Firmware & Boot ROM of devices using Enterasys AP Manager Survey floors of hospital test signal strength, determining future location of each AP using the Enterasys Client Utility. Documented AP locations on a floor plan for the installation crew. Configured the APs using HyperTerminal assigning IP addresses, setup encryption with appropriate management permissions. Used Ethereal 9.12 for packet analysis and to view local network traffic. Used NMapWin 1.3.1 to find security holes on the network.
