Daily Duties at Kqup Tv Equity Broadcasting:
Regional/General Manager of four stations. Built and developed new KQUP UPN 24 from start up to two transmitters and distribution on every major cable and satellite system in 24 counties. Defined and implemented a strategic plan to raise local, regional and national billing to exceed budgets. Successfully transitioned from UPN affiliate to RTN (Retro Television Network) without a drop in revenues. Successfully re-launched KDEV ABC 8, doubling revenues in the first year. Opened new office and hired and managed staff. Repositioned WMQF FOX 19 in market and boosted sales. Launched new station KQDK RTN in Denver. For all properties, oversaw all station operations leading efforts to boost ratings and revenue providing professional, positive motivation, direction and insight for station staff, advertisers and the community at large.
