Daily Duties at Northeast Utilities:
*Provide technical and administrative assistance through the analysis, specifications, design, development, programming, implementation, configuration and documentation of software for IT management needs. *Interact and maintain relationships with clients and IT support personnel. *Provide technical support in the development of detailed hardware/software design and documentation as required *Provide technical and administrative support relative to the planning, *specifications, design, development, programming, implementation, configuration and documentation. *Maintain appropriate documentation relative to configuration management activities including the maintenance of current revision levels. *Assist in providing instructional/training to IT and end user personnel in the capabilities and use of computer systems as required. *Identify opportunities for application of information technology Implement IT policies and standards. *Solve problems and provide first level support for IT systems and provide on-call assistance. *Understand the clients’ business and how IT system is used in that business:
