Unload trucks and railcars of material using a forklift. Verify paperwork and materials received for accuracy. Pull various building materials and lumber according to loading slips in a specific order to accurately ship customer’s orders. Inspect all materials leaving the yard for quality and correct quantity before being shipped to customer. Help self service customers find correct merchandise and load vehicle. Drive a 6 ton dump truck to deliver customer’s merchandise to correct addresses. I demonstrated the ability to effectively prioritize work, organize time and balance multiple responsibilities without direct supervision. Kept warehouse and yard in a clean and orderly manner. Delivered shingles to customers using a boom truck to put on them on roof. Unloaded windows and doors from delivery truck and put them into stock and delivered window and door packages to customers. Trained and supervised new employees.
