 IT Project Manager for Nationwide Services Corp, managing Cost, Schedule, and Resources to complete IT projects on time and within Budget.  Projects Managed: o Project to migrate a newly acquired company from Novell, and Zenworks to AD and SMS. Project goal encompasses migrating servers, applications, User ID’s, printers, files, databases, FTPs, and desktop images to be converted to Nationwide’s current standards o Develop two lower cost NAS products (replicated and non-replicated) for Core and Web NAS environment, by using Tier 2 storage and archiving data that is not accessed (read or updated) in 180 days to Tier 4 o Shared Web Server Refresh - The initial purpose of this project is to identify application owners and investigate each application’s infrastructure and platform requirements. This will enable web engineering to properly configure and setup new hosting environments for migration of these application and retirement / decommissioning of the existing infrastructure. The whole project will complete three phases: Phase 1 - Information discovery customers ,Phase 2 - Infrastructure build (include hardware costs, identify platform (s), etc.), and Phase 3 – Complete the application migration and decommissioning of the old servers o Improve Data Center Capacity Management Tools - (1) Conduct a structured effort to identify new tools and technologies that best address data center capacity management challenges. (2) Develop recommendations and business cases. (3) Implement the tools that are selected. o SOA operational Management Framework - The capability will be piloted for the Corporate Internet Login function and all downstream applications. The effort will implement a solution utilizing the ArcSight Logger tool, in addition to establish a code certification process
