Daily Duties at Medical Automation Systems:
Laboratory Interface Engineer Promoted in 2006 Manage and Develop system interfaces that link software to hospital's LIS systems • Project Leadership • Define and achieve client needs through one-on-one sessions and on-going communications until LIVE implementation of project • Test interface(s) during Integrated Testing phase. Correct deficient Code or Processes • Quality Overview of Site Scripts within a review board to detect “bugs” • Conduct post site monitoring for quality assurance and problem resolution • Training site to use the new functions added into the software for monitoring and managing the interfaces and test results • Work with HL7 protocol or terminal(s) (VXConnect, Reflections) scripted type interface. • Experience With Meditech, Cerner, Misys[Sunquest], EPIC, and other Lab Information Systems.
