Daily Duties at Avaya:
Mainly responsible for supporting Call Management Systems, Intuity Voicemail, Definity, Prologix, Legend, Merlin and Partner telecommunication systems. Utilized knowledge of Windows 98, 2000 and XP to support Avaya applications on customer provided PCs. Expedited callers request to help meet and/or exceed SLAs. Utilize knowledge of Avaya telecommunication equipment and tools to trouble-shoot problems with remote access ports and equipment using PC Anywhere and Maestro modem pool. Utilize exceptional listening and communication skills to trouble-shoot and solve client concerns and questions to promote strong client assistance resulting in exceptional customer satisfaction record. Assist with upgrade of Customers’ Intuity Voice Messaging for Y2K compliance. Support technicians, system consults, account executives, and business partners to resolve problems with Intuity Voice Messaging, Call Accounting System, Call Management Systems, Definity, S8300, S8500 and S8700s Perform remote trouble-shooting and programming of Intuity, CAS and CMS for clients. Work closely with Tier 3 group to solve problems. Support customer service, sales, and technical functions. Team leader for the Y2K team and Francis Team E and A. Schedule pager duty for Integrated Solutions Technical Support and scheduled pager duty for the Y2K group. Prepared and submitted work schedule for the Y2K group. Trained peers on Smart Connect Call Management System. Relieve Manager during manager’s vacations and furlough. Reconcile electronic time sheets for payroll. Monitor technical call center queues. Complete adherence to schedule report. Report absences to the TOPPS system and position with employee. Distribute reports to employees on their team performance from the day before. Monitor manager’s e-mail and voicemail. Applications Used: MS Windows platform XP Professional, Outlook email administration, Exchange, Internet Explorer, MS Office 2003 Resolved technician, SC, AE, and dealer problems in System 25 with TI and other adjuncts. Participated in major project to build and maintain CasePoint for System 25, CAT, and Loudspeaker paging. Utilized software packages Visio, CBR Express, and Microsoft Word. As Team Leader, received award for meeting and exceeding objectives for access.
