Specialized in handling of Property and Auto losses. My job responsibilities were as follows: - Received new claims made contact with insured & claimant within 24 hrs. - Verified coverage in force on date of loss. - Discuss facts of loss with all parties involved. - Obtain police report or fire reports depending on loss. - Assigned Independent Adjuster to inspect loss or Auto. - Monitor Independent appraiser performance and control expenses. - Review Independent Appraiser reports and verify subro or salvage. - Verify reserves adequate for loss. - Prepare large loss reports on losses exceeding $50,000. - Make payment recommendation based on I/A report. - Obtain recorded statements. - Make Contents and ALE payments. - Move salvage when appropriate. - Maintain diary on all files. - Return all phones calls prior to end of business day. - Provide great customer service.
