Specific duties as follows: - Interpret policies and apply coverage to exposures. - Verify policies in force and explain coverage limits to policyholders. - Verify claim history and verify loss result of 09/13/2008 hurricane. - Review field appraisers reports and photos of reported damages. - Check subrogation and salvage potential. - Advise policyholders to take necessary precautions to mitigate damages. - Maintain diary system and ensure timely payments while working files toward closure. - Discuss all payments with policholders prior to issuance and verify Mortgage Companies on Dwelling payments exceeding $5,000. - Handle Contents and Additional Living Expense claims. - Returned all phone calls in a timely manner. - Handle all supplements for recoverable depreciation.
