Program Manager, LMS, ThinQ Learning Solutions Inc, Baltimore, US December 2002 till April 2004 (Peak Team size 45, Value $3.2 million) • Managed the application development, Maintenance and testing engagement for ThinQ LMS (currently part of SABA suite of products) • The product is in the Learning Management Domain. It is a robust enterprise wide software developed using Microsoft platform. • Managed 18 projects during this engagement ranging from 20 to 100 person months • Ramped up team and successfully delivered first three projects • The product is used by some of the fortune 500 companies for managing their training systems. Key clients included US Navy, Siemens, Intel • Completed e-commerce integration for Siemens • Completed e-learning integration with NetG, Skill Soft for US Navy • Created a test lab for performance testing and scalability analysis of the product • Conducted localization and language pack testing of 8 Language packs in a record 20 working days Tools & Technology: Windows 2003, SQL Server, VC++, COM, COM+, IIS, ASP.Net, XML web services, Cold Fusion MX, MS Project Project Manager Trade Finance unit MayBank, Malaysia Dec 1998 to Feb 2002 (Peak Team size 35, Value $1.2 million/ year) • Developed and maintained products for the trade finance unit of the Bank • Successfully implemented the first offshore development project for this customer. Managed the high visibility project using the offshore + onsite model • Synchronized the delivery of milestones with multiple project teams and hence schedule adherence was a key factor. • Conducted need analysis, Client presentations, and design. Prototypes were developed and demonstrated to the customer to bridge communication gaps. • Developed as-is and to-be processes, use cases and requirements • Developed test plans and helped execute test cases for acceptance testing, systems testing and integration testing Tools & Technology: IBM AIX, Oracle 8 and VB 6.0 Designer 2000, MS Project
