Reorganized the IS dept. staff and goals, as well as the company's business software development efforts (e.g., ERP), to improve work quality, customer satisfaction, increase reliability (e.g., through error correction and stabilization of the code), and reduce costs. Developed the company2s data mart/warehouse program using SQL-7, BRIO, Crystal Report Writer and Access to allow department heads to solve key business issues by accessing the needed information. Stabilized the existing NT-based network by implementing a standards program for server/workstation builds, hi-speed switching, logon scripts and routine maintenance. Managed the department2s budget of $2.5 million to finish the 2000 fiscal year under budget, while increasing the service satisfaction level of the department.
