Daily Duties at Cts:
TSM Day to day server management which includes Disk management, user management, Software installation, Job Scheduling, Backup and restoration. Installed TSM Server and Clients in Windows2003. Server & client upgradation on a regular basis for existing TSM servers. Ensuring TSM DB backups and other daily process Completion Define Policy Domain, Policy Set, management Class, Backup copy group, Archive Group. Configuring TSM operations like Migration, reclamation, Collocation etc. Define and configuring the client Schedules and Administrative Schedule. Monitoring the Storage pool utility, Database utility, scratch tape count, Take a Report on Nightly Failed and missed Backup nodes and send various reports to Senior Management. Trouble Shooting the Backup failures and failed jobs will be restarted once corrective action has been implemented Restarting the missed backups and its scheduler service Checking all logs services and troubleshoot the problems.
