• Served as interim VP of Global Sales and Marketing for a renewable energy company, formulated global sales and marketing strategy, developed sales and marketing tools, updated branding to better resonate with customers and differentiate from competitors, and represented company to global customers and investors. • Served as interim VP of Global Sales and Marketing for an architectural products company for which I developed a comprehensive sales and marketing plan, developed strategic accounts, and initiated green product focus. • Formulated a national sales strategy and staffing plan, including target markets and customers, for a “green” textile startup. Also raised money for this company. • Created a business plan for a leading, raw material supplier for architectural products to increase margins by launching a collection of finished products. • Prepared a business plan to create a new division of a global architectural products company focused on residential architects and interior designers. • Developed a comprehensive business plan to execute a strategic, global consolidation within the network services industry through the acquisition and integration of six companies. • Developed a business startup and launch plan, including resource requirements, schedule, and budget, for a multi-disciplined business brokerage.

Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
