Daily Duties at Mid Continent Cabinetry:
Working as a Human Resources business partner with the plant and executive management team focused on plant organizational effectiveness. Lead the facility through change initiatives, positively impacting associate moral, turnover, worker's compensation, and unemployment insurance cost. •Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others by encouraging and building mutual trust, respect •Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems •Established positive community relationships •Develop, viable solutions which balance risks vs. cost to the organization •Analyze people related metrics, identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts •Provide guidance and direction to direct reports, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance •Establish long-range Human Resources objectives •Successfully reduced associate turn over from 25% to 3.84% annualized •Reduced Unemployment Insurance cost for the plant •Developed training for Supervisors and Management and OJT program for line associates •Managed OSHA compliance and safety, employee relations, compensation and performance management
