Daily Duties at The Delfield Company:
Various accounting responsibilities in both the cost and financial accounting departments during the company’s ERP implementation Researched and implemented Escheatable Property reporting process ensuring compliance in all states Various Bank, Balance Sheet and Expense Account Reconciliations including preparation of adjusting entries as needed Maintained fixed asset inventory, including additions and disposals Filing of all sales tax returns, maintaining sales tax database including changes in rates and 16,000 + exemptions including back up documentation Frequent contact with both taxing authorities, dealers and customers ensuring compliance in all states Daily Sales, Orders, and Backlog reports, weekly and monthly reporting Collection and reporting of data necessary for Performance Metrics Gathering data and preparation of schedules for Auditors Training and Supervision of Interns (both full and part-time)
