Daily Duties at Dept Of Homeland Security:

Conduct DEU audits of personnel files, day-to-day activities of the Indianapolis Hiring Center, such as assistance with the CBP compensation program (leave, wage/benefit). Coordination with management in conjunction with HR Staff of Leave of Absences, Short-Term Disability, FMLA requests, Payroll, Attendance Reporting, Workers Compensation issues, and employee PTO issues. Conduct recruitment efforts and new hire processes; including posting of open positions, sourcing candidates, interviewing, generating offer letters, scheduling reviewing background checks, and processing new hire paperwork.
