Electronically filed insurance claims. Performed daily follow up on claims and coverage. Assisted patients in developing an acceptable financial plan for payment of treatment, collected money due from the patient at the time of treatment. Managed aged receivables and ensured timely collections of past due accounts. Registered patients. Maintained the function of the admissions department. Scheduled staff's working hours and conducted regular staff meetings to communicagte new ideas, resolve problems, obtain feedback and maintained the overall effectiveness of the admission staff. Reviewed patient's charts before sending to billing department. Worked with Case Management to coordinate the acquisition and admittance of the patient. Ensured all policies and procedures were distributed, understood and implemented by staff at the time of admission.
