Daily Duties at Piedmont Hospital:
Managed the Cancer Program Activities and the Cancer Registry Staff, participated in patient education and screening, applied quality assurance processes to cancer registry data to ensure 99% accuracy rate, established cancer staging procedures toensure a compliance rate of 97% which exceeded ACoS/CoC compliance rate. The cancer Program received continuous ACoS/CoC Approval throughout my employment. Completed & distributed an annual report, Identified cancer cases for abstracting by screening the diagnostic index, pathology and other outpatient reports. Trained and provide inservice programs for cancer registry employees.
