Daily Duties at Ocala Regional Medical Center:

Medical Records Supervisor: Supervised fourteen employes in Record Processing who retrieved and sent medical records to the unit a returning patient, complete birth certificates of all the new borns and send them to the helth department, collected all the records of patients who are discharged from the hospital, flagg charts for appropriate physician dictation and signatures and fulfill patient; medical & insurance requests for meidcal information. Cancer Registry Supervision included setting up cancer conferences and cancer committee meetings, keeping minutes of cancer program activities and cancer case presentation, submitting documentation for continuing education certificates for doctors and licensed individuals in attendance, evaluations studies showing that at least 90% of the annual cancer caseload is staged and reviewed by physicians. I was alos responsible for producing and distributing an annual report to the medical staff and the community.
