Responsible for directing an elite team of eight engineers in various confidential projects assigned by the Director of the Lab. Served as Project Engineer for Advanced Discrimination Initiative performing experimental and numerical analysis to study physics to discriminate countermeasures for ballistic missile defense. Acted as Principal Investigator for multi-sponsored program on creating Personnel Data Assistant tool for field personnel for local ground effect hazards. Co-Principal investigator for chemical agent negation for theatre missile defense to understand breakup and degradation of chemical agents through experiments and computational simulations. Obtained a DOE security level of Q. • Built and co-led a multidisciplinary research team of eight engineers, physicists and technicians in completion of planned research goals within budget, resulting in securing continued grant funding for two additional years by the Laboratory Directed Research and Development Program. • Developed experimental and numerical project plans, acquired experimental facility and all key personal to accomplish research goals, resulting in successful performance of one-of-a kind experiments leading to continued years of research funding. • Performed numerical analysis and recommended computational methods to validate experimental results, resulting in securing additional funding while increasing the size and scope of the research team.
