Daily Duties at Gsp Ventures:
Program, fixture, set-up and operate Haas and Fadal VMC's. Process improvements. Order tooling. Train personnel. Assign work. Quote jobs. Work with lead-man in Lathe Dept. Time studies, quality audits and training, preventative maintenance, production planning, safety audits and plant layouts. Lots of outside-vendor contact. In 4 years, I have saved the company over $500K in machine-time with less than $25K invested in new tooling. Over the past year I have learned how to set-up, edit programs and run parts on Miyano lathes with Fanuc controls.
